Supervision forms an important component of academic study, particularly in relation to independent research projects and dissertations. I have supervised more than one hundred undergraduate dissertations and independent research projects in law, guiding students in the development of research questions, the application of legal research methods, and the preparation of structured academic work.
My approach to supervision emphasises critical engagement with legal sources, clarity of argument, and the development of independent analytical skills. Students are encouraged to engage rigorously with legal doctrine, academic literature, and relevant case law in order to produce research that demonstrates academic depth and intellectual independence.
